Peachland Riding Club

Welcome to the Peachland Riding Club website!

We are located approx. 4.5 kilometeres up Princeton Avenue in beautiful Peachland British Columbia. If coming from Penticton turn left at the lights, if coming from Kelowna make a right. We are located right accoss from the Municipal Works Yard on the left.

Our club was founded in 1969 and has grown ever since. Besides the 6 Gymkhana Fun Day Shows that we do every year we also hold a lot of other shows such as Western Heritage, Can Trek Events and in 2006 we started to work towards our first Little Britches Rodeo that is going to be held in July of 2007. We also get involved in the 2 yearly Parades that Peachland has and help out in the Community.

We have over 8 Acres of gorgeous park land, a oversized Arena and 2 huge warm up arenas for all to enjoy. We also have 12 full stalls, and 11 pens for the horses that don't want to be tied when you are up enjoying one of our many events. We have a full concession on site and a beautiful Clubhouse that has many improvements for the past 3 years. Our clubhouse is open for all sorts of events. It will hold approximately 110 people and is a great place to hold your next function. Make sure to check out Rental Info.

The area around our club has a multitude of trails around it that the Peachland's Sportsmen's Association is in the process of marking and trying to save with all the future development.

IMPORTANT NEWS

Wednesday December 3 rd Parade decorating up at Chevelliar' arena, 7pm , and on December 5 th , we are meeting at 4:30 down by the Peachland Baptist church for the Peachland Christmas parade….to follow we are having a Christmas party get together up at the Riding Club which will include a camp fire, food and refreshments. Message From the President - November 2008

Hello all,

Well our season has ended and ended well. It has been an exceptional year of amazing events such as the Little Britches, and High School rodeos and our regular Gymkhana rodeos. We saw many riders come out and approve their skills, their team building with their mounts and their personal best times. I want to say a huge thank-you to all of you riders for your continued support and competitive spirit that we benefit and enjoy at the Peachland Riding Club. I want to congratulate our 2008 winners for the Gymkhana season. Well done! This year has also had some great contributions, with the new announcers building supplied by Jazel Homes, and Mike Gibson taking the lead in the construction of this facility, our regular tireless volunteers who came out consistently to run our events, thank-you!!!!

The 2009 season is a little ways off but it is coming really soon and there are many things to look forward to, High School Rodeo in May, Peachland Centennial, Gymkhana season, the March Poll Clinic and many other items we are planning. I encourage all of you to get your rest because 2009 will be a great year.
